LoL
I ever use OsmAnd and is an huge app very complete, but the problem is the UI as you said (ie: I never found the menú to invert the track ).
My app not pretend to compete with "the big boys", at firs was only for me, but since cost me much effort (several months), I will publish on the play store when finished (maybe next month).

Wow, that sounds promising ... can't weait for it.
Stupid question: Is there any kind of tutorial, how to generate a working App with SB and transfer it to your Phone or an Emulator to test it?
(e.g. I use Android Studio, and it's just one click there.)

Cool ! Do you plan to publish it on iOS as well ?
Not at first, but it might be a good reason to revive my old 2008 Mac Pro Anyway, if I remember correctly, the developer license to publish on the App Store was $99/Year, so I need to see if this app can be monetized first.

You don't need a tutorial, simply connect the smartphone via usb (otg) to the computer, mark the checkbox: "Automatically upload to usb connected device..." and that's all, you app will be send to the device and launched when the compilation was completed.
