IDE: allow date format choice

Got an idea for enhancing SpiderBasic? New command(s) you'd like to see?

IDE: allow date format choice

Post by SparrowhawkMMU »

Could we pick our own date format for IDE date/times (eg in the Project file listing)? Currently SB appears to only allow the display of US-formatted dates, which I find to be the least helpful of all formats.

Ideally, we should be able to pick European %dd-%mm-%yyyy %hh:%ii:%ss and miltary %yyyy-%mm-%dd %hh:%ii:%ss as well as keeping the US option for US users of course.

Or default the IDE to use whatever the system format is set to be.

Note, this is on OS X, I have not checked the Windows or Linux versions recently to see whether they too are affected.

Apologies if there is already an option for this - if so could somebody point me to where this option is lurking?
