Compile/Run - Export Help

Post by J. Baker »

Sorry but I find this app so confusing and I use PureBasic. I can not get anything to compile and run. I get "SpiderBasic quit unexpectedly". See report below. Then I tried exporting to see if I could run the html file afterwords. But it wants me to select an html file instead naming and creating a new one. Which is weirdly done through the compiler options??? Why not just name and create a new html file and so forth at export like in PureBasic? Anyways... I never purchased this app because I thought it was a bug for a long time but I feel that it is just strangely designed. Sorry Fred.

May be it's a MacOS issue, I will check it. When selecting the 'export' menu item, no requester should show, and only a progress window should be displayed.

The 'export' is the setting of your app, it's not like PureBasic where all is compiled in a single exe. Here you have to give more info than only one, so that's why it's designed like that. But I agree it's not very intuitive, and next version will probably feature a revamped flow to create a webapp.
