Sprite and Special FX (Pixi / Phaser)

Updated
  • this is experiment using Pixi 2.2.8 using: tap/click event, deformation FX, blend modes
  • I wrapped some pixi functions
  • YQL web service is used to download cross-domain images data URI

Did you test the first example or the second one ?

For the first example, you'll need :
  • to disable the debug mode
  • two image
    • panda.png
    • displacement_map.jpg (greyscale image)

Tested both examples using both debugger on and off and both open FireFox and only show tan color screen.
What are you using to view?

I'm using Chrome browser for my tests because SpiderBasic is in alpha version for the moment.

If you have some time, you can test these demos: These are short examples of what you can achieve using this 2D engine or this game frameworks.

These demos both work fine in FireFox. Just the above examples in SpiderBasic won't work in FireFox. Too Bad :(
