The IDE crashes if I use the arrow keys. Spider Beta 3 and Purebasic 5.70.
The both IDEs also crashes, if I delete then " ; " - characters.

Tested with many distributions.

So you can't use the IDE at all ? That's weird, could you try to install PureBasic to see if it's a Spider specific issue ?

The problem is with Spider and Purebasic.
The problem has long been known and is discussed again and again in forums.
I've never been able to remove the REM (with the DEL key) or use the arrow keys.
It really is not a NEW problem.
Tested with many Linux distributions and some PCs.

For explanation:
Click in a REM line and delete the ";" with DEL or with backspace.
The IDE crashes either NOW or when you use the arrow keys.

OK, I will take a closer look. I don't have seen such a report in PB forum, so that's why I was surprised :). Also Peter use Linux IIRC

Yes, that's correct. And I have no problems with PureBasic and SpiderBasic.

Greetings ... Peter

What a luck for Peter.
Spider and Pure works good with WINE HQ, so I guess it is really a Linux-IDE-Problem.
