[Solved] Can't run/debug on Win10 + v2.10 at all

by Jedt3D Wed Sep 13, 2017 11:41 am

I'm not able to compile / run / debug at all

press F5 and the compile dialog appear a sec and gone... nothing after that.

I've never had this before in v2.0 or v2.10 beta. Only got it from v2.10 final even I've tried to download and reinstall many times.

I've tested on Win7 32 bit on another machine, it worked as it should be.

Any idea on Win10 Pro 64 bit setting? No antivirus except MS Defender with default setting. No other 3rd party firewall or security software.

Very annoying and I can't find where to download the old version...

Hello Jedt3D.

My configuration is the same as yours (Windows 10 Pro 64 bits). I have no problem with SpiderBasic. I can compile and create Android apps.

Two ways to explore :

■ Where did you install SpiderBasic? It can not be a folder protected by Windows 10 (Program Files (x86), Program Files, ...)

■ May be a problem with file virtualization (this is a security mechanism) ?

1 - Go to C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ -> Delete SpiderBasic folder if exist.

2 - Go to C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming -> Delete Spiderbasic folder
➽ Windows 10 - JDK 1.8 - SB 2.20 - Android 5.5
